Woosh Vote ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Pistons & Ink LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Woosh Vote mobile app and website (collectively, the "Service").
Information We Collect
When you create an account or use the Service, we may collect the following:
- First name — used to personalize your in-app experience.
- Email address — used to associate your contests with your account and send you battle confirmation emails.
- Photos you upload — stored on Cloudinary (our cloud image host) and used as contest entries.
- Voting activity — a random, anonymous voter ID is generated and stored on your device to track which entries you have voted on within a contest. This ID is not linked to your name or email.
- Recently visited contests — stored locally on your device only.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your voting contests.
- To send you confirmation emails when your battle goes live.
- To display your first name as a greeting within the app.
- To prevent duplicate votes within a single contest session.
Data Storage
Your name, email, and recent activity are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and are not transmitted to our servers except when you create or manage a contest. Contest data (photos, votes, settings) is stored on our web servers hosted by GoDaddy.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
Data Retention
We retain your contest data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at support@wooshvote.com.
