This Privacy Policy covers the following applications and websites operated by Pistons and Ink / Woosh Vote:
Account information: When you first open the Woosh Vote app, we ask for your first name and email address. This is stored locally on your device and used only to identify your votes within a contest. We do not create an account on our servers or store your personal information on our servers.
Vote data: When you cast a vote, we record which contest entry received the vote (like or pass) along with an anonymous voter ID generated on your device. We do not link votes to your name or email address on our servers.
Contest creator information: If you create a contest through wooshvote.com, we collect your name, email address, and contest details. This information is used to build and manage your contest and communicate with you about it.
Voter data is used solely to power the live leaderboard and enforce vote frequency rules (once per voter, once per day, or unlimited — as set by the contest creator). Contest creator information is used to build and deliver your contest page and send you your contest link and dashboard access.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking services in our apps.
Vote data is stored on our servers and may be automatically reset at the end of each contest period. Contest creator information is retained for as long as your contest is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Vote data: When you cast a vote in the app, we record which truck build received the vote (like or pass). We do not collect your name, email address, device identifier, IP address, or any personally identifiable information in connection with votes.
No account required: Build Battle does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the app.
Local storage: The app stores your vote history locally on your device. This data never leaves your device except in aggregate vote counts sent to our server.
Vote data is used solely to calculate and display the global leaderboard rankings. We do not sell, share, or use vote data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the leaderboard.
Aggregate vote counts are stored on our server and are automatically reset every 30 days as part of the monthly leaderboard competition.
Both apps are rated 4+ and are appropriate for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is described above. Build Battle collects no personal information from any user. Woosh Vote collects only a first name and email address stored locally on the device.
Neither app integrates Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any advertising networks. Woosh Vote uses Mailchimp to send transactional emails to contest creators who sign up at wooshvote.com. Mailchimp's privacy policy is available at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.
You can clear your local vote history and voter ID at any time by uninstalling either app. Contest creators may request deletion of their account and contest data by contacting us at the address below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
